I've always have a great experience with Dr. Vera. I'm very happy with him.

I like Dr. Vera - the only complaint I have is that because I only see him once a year. I wish he would order tests at least once a year. For example a carotid artery ultrasound/ EKG or something along those lines to have a base line from year to year. That to me would make me feel so much better. Thank you for listening.

My only complaint/concern was that although I shared the news about having a TIA earlier in the year I was surprised Dr. Vera did not order any tests for me. I only see him once a year and I feel it would be important to get some tests done - Especially if I've had a TIA previously. Aside from that I really like Dr. Vera. Thank you.

I've been very happy with Dr. Vera and all my doctors, there does seem to be long wait to get an appointment with some of the doctors unless you want to se a P.A. Other than that no complaints.

Dr. Vera has been there, he is a major reason my heath has been as well as it is for about 40 of my 76 years, he's a great doctor!

Appreciate that Dr Vera took great care of me back in May when I needed a stent placement. Very thankful to him .He was pretty informative in the office visit & listened to me somewhat of my concerns. Just needed validation of my concerns.

Dr. Vera's assistant PA student was very thorough with taking my history relating to my cardiology visit so that when Dr. Vera came in he was aware of my condition.

Dr. Vera tends to dictate what I will do in the upcoming months vs. Discuss with me options. I suspect he is frustrated with me for wanting my echocardiogram done earlier than what he scheduled last year and also for not having lab work completed prior to my last visit which I explained to him why it would be done in the next month after seeing my primary care doctor this week.In my last appt the doctor asked if I remembered what was on my chest and basically reminded me that I was a bypass patient and needed to be there in the cardiology dept. I understand that clearly; iI think quite often about surviving my heart attack.He said my blood pressure was now In the hyper tense range and that I should start a blood pressure medication which I have now started. My blood pressure Is typically higher Im the doctors office but has been higher at home also. What I hear clearly every visit is they want my LDL score below [ID]; however with the best diet and exercise plan behavior the best I have been able to get to is [ID] which I consider to be very good considering I have a very high genetic [ID] score; almost triple the normal person. We've had a good relationship for over 10 years; this is not a consistent negative situation but as the patient I want to be able to discuss my concerns about my cardiac health without hearing just about my cholesterol stats. Things like diet, exercise, and other things should really be part of the discussion from my viewpoint. I'm grateful for what providence has done for me.
