Ian M. Hartman, PAC

Ian Hartman, PA-C, was inspired to become a physician assistant and pursue his passion for medicine and life-long learning. "Cardiovascular surgery seemed like a natural choice for me because it provides the opportunity for involvement in the surgical arena, as well as medical care of critically ill patients," Ian says. "It's important for me to serve as a liaison between patients and their surgeon."

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree in exercise science from Linfield College in McMinnville, Ore., Ian completed his master's degree in physician assistant studies from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Ore. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. Born and raised in Portland, Ian continues to live in the area with his wife and two children. In his free time, he enjoys cycling, running, hiking, fishing and spending time with his family.
