Ari Robicsek, MD
Ari Robicsek is chief analytics and research officer at Providence. He leads clinical and operational analytics, clinical research and genomics, enabling Providence to optimize operations, innovate patient care and support clinical decision making.
Prior to joining Providence, Dr. Robicsek served in several leadership roles at NorthShore University Health-System. His research on clinical practice variation and epidemiological analytics has been published in numerous journals, including JAMA, Annals of Internal Medicine, The Lancet Infectious Diseases and Nature Medicine. He has lectured widely on measurement in health care, co-chaired Epic’s Research Advisory Council and Data Scientist Forums, and is a Senior Fellow of the Health Research and Educational Trust. He has mentored University of Chicago fellows in research informatics and co-leads a seminar on analytics for the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Dr. Robicsek studied medicine at the University of Toronto and infectious diseases at Harvard Medical School.
