Designated Gifts

Employee Giving Campaign

Providence employees may designate their gift to Providence St. Peter Foundation, as well as any local or international 501(C) 3 agency through the United Way of Thurston County.

Examples of directing your contribution to a number of Providence Funds include:

Greatest Need Fund:
Serving Providence St. Peter Hospital, Providence Mother Joseph Care Center, Providence SoundHomeCare & Hospice and Providence St. Francis House.  All of these institutions depend on charitable gifts given through the Foundation’s Greatest Need Fund.

This fund enables the Foundation to respond to a variety of local needs within Providence programs and services at the discretion of the Foundation Board.  Patient care services, health education, capital improvements and vital equipment purchases have all been made possible through grant awards from the Greatest Need Fund.  A sampling of the facilities or programs that have recently received support from the Greatest Need Fund include:

 - Rehabilitation equipment
 - Hospice Grief support programs
 - Chemical Dependency support programs
 - Mother Joseph Care Center Capital Improvements
 - Sexual Assault Clinic support program
 - Animal Assisted Activities
 & Therapy Program
 - Nursing education
 - Emergency Center Improvements

“We want to give the best quality of care, we need the best equipment.  Gifts to the Employee Giving Campaign support that.”
Daun Lenz
Mother Joseph Care Center Employee
