Parenting: Bringing Baby Home (ages 0 - 1 year)

The Bringing Baby HomeTM Program helps parents of infants 0 to 1 year equip themselves with the knowledge and skills needed to cope successfully with the changes brought about by the birth of their baby. Pre-crawling babies are welcome to attend class with their parents. Created by well-known couples' therapist, Dr. John Gottman, the program teaches couples how to:
  • Strengthen friendship with their partner
  • Deal effectively with conflict
  • Allow dads to be involved in infant care and parenting
  • Improve the quality of parent-infant interactions
  • Recognize psychological and emotional needs of the child

Pricing:
3-week series (pricing is per couple)
      $ 85  ($80 for Providence Health Plan members)


Parenting: Toddlers Series (ages 1 - 3 years)

This class is designed to help you feel more confident as a parent. A specific age-related track allows facilitated discussions to help you gain new parenting skills and resources. This four-week series will focus on child development, setting realistic expectations, and managing challenging behavior through setting limits and logical consequences.

This class is designed for parents. Child care is not available.
