Some days are especially painful after the death of a loved one. The holidays can often intensify one's feelings of loneliness and isolation.
This free, one-hour seminar is designed to help people who are grieving discover practical and meaningful ways to cope during the holidays. Many of these coping strategies can be used when celebrating other personal holidays throughout the year, such as birthdays and anniversaries. You will receive suggestions for creating memorials and rituals to honor your loved one.
Those who wish to support someone who has experienced a loss can also benefit from the information presented in this seminar.
The presentations are part of the Community Care Program and are offered free of charge. Registration is appreciated but not required. For more information or to register, please contact Anne Kister by phone, 503-215-4636, or by e-mail, anne.kister@providence.org.
