Patients who are dealing with chronic or genetic illnesses often face special challenges. Treatments for these illnesses often rely on biopharmaceutical self-injectables, which traditional retail pharmacies are unable to supply due to high cost and the need for special storage and handling. The Home Infusion Specialty Pharmacy program helps improve patients’ therapeutic outcomes by supporting both the patient and the physician.
For the patient
We recognize that education and support is key to a patient’s success. Patient training and education in their prescribed self-injectable therapy is done either by their physician or a registered nurse at our Eastside or Westside infusion suite locations. A pharmacist-led team provides the support necessary for positive therapeutic outcomes by working with the physician to monitor the patient’s progress, insure correct dosage, troubleshoot self-injectable problems and oversee the delivery schedule of drugs and supplies.
For the physician
We offer extensive patient management services for the physician. Our comprehensive program saves the physician time, money and resources by providing coordination of care resulting in more positive therapeutic outcomes.
