‘Wellness is about so much more than a list of medical problems; it includes emotional, spiritual, and intellectual well-being,” says Dr. Hotelling. “By encompassing all aspects of what makes a person whole, I hope to focus medical care on maintaining wellness rather than reacting to illness. I think most doctors believe this but, at ElderPlace, I feel I truly have the opportunity and time to get to know the patient as a whole person and practice this philosophy.”
