Overview
The Providence Health & Services Autologous Stem Cell Transplant Program offers treatment for a broad range of diseases, including acute leukemia, Hodgkin's Disease, non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma, multiple myeloma, testicular cancer and other solid tumors.
The Program became a FACT-accredited (Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy) transplant program in March of 2000. FACT accreditation enables the ASCT Program to perform transplant protocols through the Southwest Oncology Group (SWOG), one of the largest oncology research cooperative groups in the United States focusing on clinical research in the prevention and cure of cancer in adults. The ASCT program also offers transplant protocols through the Bone Marrow Transplant Clinical Trials Network.
