The 10-week program is led by a certified dietitian and an exercise specialist. It includes nutrition counseling, physical activity and behavioral support. Its aim is to teach families how to develop healthy lifestyle habits to be sustained over the long term. At least one parent is required to attend.

Lab work includes lipid and thyroid panels, fasting glucose and insulin levels, and a current blood pressure. These requirements are not included in the class fee; please check with your insurance plan for coverage.
