Dr. Chua joined Providence Neurology Associates in spring 2008. Before joining the Milwaukie practice, Dr. Chua had a successful neurology practice in Grants Pass. Dr. Chua completed a fellowship in neurophysiology/epilepsy at the University of Alabama at Birmingham and another fellowship in neuro-AIDS at University of California-San Francisco.

Neurologist and epilepsy specialist Paula Gerber, M.D., joined the neurology division of The Oregon Clinic in August 2008. She recently completed a neurophysiology/epilepsy fellowship at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, Ariz. She helped develop the new inpatient-monitoring unit for epilepsy diagnostics at Providence Portland Medical Center.
Parvez J. Pohowalla, M.D., M.P.H.
Pediatric neurology
Dr. Pohowalla is a pediatric neurologist who has practiced in the Portland community for the past 25 years. He recently joined the Providence physician division as director of Pediatric Neurology. He has special interest and experience in pediatric epilepsy and EEG. Under his leadership, Providence is establishing inpatient EEG monitoring at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center in NICU and pediatrics to better serve children with seizure disorders. Dr. Pohowalla earned his medical degree from University of Indore, India. He completed a pediatric residency at New Jersey Medical School, and a fellowship in pediatric neurology and EEG from UCLA School of Medicine.

Dr. Yerby specializes in treating epilepsy with a focus on how women with epilepsy can achieve safe, healthy pregnancies. He has written more than 50 articles and has been published in nearly every major journal in his field, including Neurology, Epilepsia, Epilepsy Research and Nature. Dr. Yerby holds a medical degree from the University of Vermont Medical School and a master's degree in public health from the University of Washington. Before joining Providence, he held teaching posts in the departments of neurology and neurosurgery, obstetrics and gynecology, and public health at Oregon Health & Science University and at the University of Washington.

Diana Moses received a bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Portland, and a master of science from Oregon Health & Science University, specializing in adult health. She is certified as a neuroscience registered nurse and has published several poster presentations. Moses coordinates inpatient admissions for the epilepsy monitoring unit, provides patient and nursing education, and helps with program development.
