Providence Seaside Hospital urologist Richard Zobell enjoys many aspects of his job but they all share a common outcome: improving the everyday lives of his patients.
Dr. Zobell received his Ph.D. in Anatomy from St. Louis University. After deciding to pursue a career in medicine, he graduated from the University of Utah where he completed his urology residency. Subsequently, he had private practices in both Utah and Idaho and is certified by the American Board of Urology.
"Urology is a medical specialty that involves medicine and surgery. I enjoy the mix of patients: young and old, male and female. It is interesting to treat cancer, incontinence, fertility, and urination problems all in the same day"
Dr. Zobell, who is married and has two dogs and a cat, enjoys the beach, music, movies and life in general on the Northwest coast.
