OREGON

In terms of quality of life, it probably doesn’t get much better than Oregon. In fact, several of the communities Providence serves have received national recognition as a “best place to live.” Money Magazine recently rated Portland second on its “Top 10 Best Cities to Live” because of the city’s reasonable housing costs, good school systems, clean air and ready access to Mt. Hood and the Willamette River Valley. Hood River has also been recognized by Men’s Health, Outside and Skiing magazines as the number one place to live due to the area’s natural beauty, moderate climate and easy access to outdoor activities like whitewater rafting, windsurfing, mountain and road cycling and the longest ski season anywhere. Oregon’s natural graces are abundant enough to allow you to make your own discoveries and list of why it’s the best place for you to live.

At Providence we’re happy to be a part of, and to help support, each of the six communities where we have medical centers. These cities are: Portland, Hood River, Medford, Milwaukie, Newberg and Seaside. Search and Apply for health care jobs here.

A tobacco-free environment is essential to the healthy, healing environment we want to provide for our employees, patients and visitors. Providence Health & Services-Oregon policy prohibits the use of tobacco products anywhere on Providence-owned or leased property.
