Providence provides a comprehensive approach to treating people with diabetes, as well as those who are at high-risk for the disease. Working closely with each patient’s primary care physician, we draw upon the many resources of Providence Holy Cross and Providence Saint Joseph Medical Centers. We emphasize education for our patients and their families to reduce the risk of diabetes complications. We offer one-to-one consultations with a Certified Diabetes Educator and Dietician who explain how to monitor your blood and keep your insulin stabilized. They also personalize an exercise and meal plan for you.
