A local surgeon is always available, along with radiology, laboratory and respiratory therapy staff. Providence's emergency doctors, nurses and admitting staff are on duty 24 hours a day.

All of our Emergency Department physicians and nurses are certified in advanced cardiac life support, advanced trauma life support and pediatric advanced life support. We are staffed with bilingual physicians and offer a full range of interpreter services.
