 Paul Cardosi, M.D.
Paul Cardosi, M.D., loves to sleep and enjoys helping others do the same. "I became a sleep doctor because I've always been fascinated with the vital role that sleep plays in emotional and physical health," said Dr. Cardosi, new medical director of Providence Hood River's sleep lab. "I enjoy helping others experience the rejuvenating effects of a good nights sleep."
A graduate of Dartmouth Medical School, Dr. Cardosi was chief resident of internal medicine at Oregon Health & Science University. He is board certified in internal medicine and sleep medicine.
He and his wife, Mimi McDonell, M.D., have three young children and live in The Dalles. He is a youth soccer coach and enjoys bicycling, skiing and spending time with his family.
"I love rural Oregon," said Dr. Cardosi when asked why he practices in the Columbia River Gorge. "I also love the quality of life and the quality of people in this area. I believe longtime residents deserve to have longtime physicians who are committed to the health of their families."
