QUICK & EASY ANNUAL SCREENINGOFFERED AT PROVIDENCE HOOD RIVER

HOOD RIVER, Ore – Prostate cancer is the most common form of cancer in men and Providence Hood River offers and easy and inexpensive screening during September, national Prostate Health Month. A simple and inexpensive blood test is all that’s involved at Providence Urology Clinic, with review by Urologist Michael Saltzman M.D. All men, Age 50 years or older or age 40 and older with a family history of prostate cancer should take the PSA test annually. Typically, men whose prostate cancer is detected through screening are found to have very early-stage disease that can be treated most effectively.

DETAILS: No charge for Urologist screening. $15 lab fee for blood test.
Test results will be reviewed by Urologist Dr. Michael Saltzman and will be mailed to patient homes within two weeks of testing.
