Dr. Mohanakumar cares for patients of all ages with a many different medical concerns, and has special interests in women’s health, preventive care and patient education. She received a volunteer of the year award in 2001 from Rotacare in Bellevue, Wash. for providing health care to uninsured patients, and has volunteered at a needle exchange program and at schools providing sports physicals. She is married with two young and energetic children. Her interests include traditional dancing, traveling and spending quality time with her family.
