"Neighborhood House is thankful for the active role Providence Health & Services plays in supporting community efforts to help make Portland a community that cares for those of who are in a more vulnerable situation. We appreciate the support you provided to our Emergency Food Program. The Neighborhood House Emergency Food Program feeds from 800 - 1000 people per month with emergency food boxes, and other supplemental nutrition supports. Support from Providence allowed us to buy 3,500 pounds of food that we were able to distribute to the grandmother whose daughter died and had to care for her two grandchildren on her fixed income. Or, the man, recently laid off from the job he held for seven years. Your help means a lot."
