LifeGuard communication Specialists are key to rapid response. The Communications Center receives flight requests, links referring personnel with the LifeGuard physician, and activates the appropriate team members. Communication specialists are trained in medical dispatch, map reading, flight tracking and coordinating all aspects of a medical evacuation operation including the ground ambulance portion. All Communication specialists are State certified Emergency Trauma Technicians (ETT), and maintain this licensure to assist with your request. All of our communications specialists are also certified by the National Association of Air Medical Communication Specialists (NAACS), a first such achievement in this region of the United States.
