Newsweek names Providence St. Patrick Hospital Best-In-State Hospital 2024
Providence St. Patrick Hospital has been named Best-In-State Hospital 2024 by Newsweek.
This ranking of America's Best-In-State Hospitals 2024 recognizes 600 leading hospitals from all U.S. states. Newsweek and global market research and consumer data firm Statista identified the top hospitals at the state level.
These lists are based on these data sources, among others:
- A nationwide online survey by thousands of doctors, hospital managers and other health care professionals to a survey about their health care recommendations. (Recommendations for their own employer were not allowed.) Participants rated hospitals in several quality dimensions on a scale of 1-10: quality of care, staffing, patient counseling, and accommodation and amenities.
- Results from patient hospital experience surveys, including cleanliness of the hospital, communication of the nurses/doctors, care transition, communication about medicines, discharge information, quietness, and staff responsiveness.
- Hospital quality metrics from Medicare and Medicaid Services for mortality, safety, readmission, experience, timely & effective care.
Kirk Bodlovic, Interim Chief Executive of Providence Montana, says, “We are proud of our commitment to provide the highest quality experience to patients, and so proud of the work our caregivers do every day. Being the best in Montana is no surprise to our team.”
